Ownership and methodology
About ContractHub
Publisher and purpose
ContractHub is owned and operated by BAM LLC. We publish an independent search and discovery service that makes public procurement information easier to find, compare, and understand.
Data sources
Federal award records come from USAspending.gov. Current federal opportunities come from SAM.gov. State, county, and city records come from the public portals identified on our Coverage page and on individual records when a source link is available.
Normalization and presentation
Source systems use different field names and formats. ContractHub maps available source fields into a common record format for agencies, vendors, amounts, dates, categories, locations, and jurisdiction levels. We may standardize labels and date or currency display, but we do not treat those presentation changes as corrections to the official record.
Freshness and availability
Award-source refreshes are scheduled every 24 hours. Active opportunity searches request current results from SAM.gov. A source outage, rate limit, connector failure, or delayed government publication can make records older than that schedule. The Coverage page reports the most recent source sync time and connector status available to ContractHub; it does not guarantee that an agency has published every recent change.
Corrections
If a ContractHub record differs from its cited source, use our contact form and select “Data correction.” Include the record or source URL and a description of the issue. When the originating government record is wrong, incomplete, or delayed, the publishing agency remains the authority that can correct it.
Editorial independence and government affiliation
BAM LLC independently controls ContractHub's organization, explanatory text, and product decisions. Advertising, if displayed, does not determine which records appear or how records are ranked. ContractHub and BAM LLC are not government agencies, are not affiliated with or endorsed by the United States government or any state or local government, and do not replace official procurement systems or records.
